to find any side of a right triangle we usually find it by using the pythagrean theory, which states that; a² ± b² = c²

so, 3² + 10² = c².......... note that (c) is the hypotenuse.

so, 9 + 100 = c²

109 = c²

find the square root of both sides.

√109 = √c²

so, 10.44030..... = c

round off to nearest hundredths( or to two decimal places), to get 10.44 units.
