Is gauge pressure larger, smaller, or the same as absolute pressure?.

Answer:

gauge pressure loses what ever pressure is in the local environment around the pressure vessel. so it's always lower than absolute pressure , except in outter space :P then they are the same. But do you really want to measure your cars tire pressue out in space?? :P
