A frog catches insects for his lunch. The frog likes to eat flies and mosquitoes in a certain ratio, which is shown in the diagram. The table shows the number of flies and the number of mosquitoes that the frog eats for two lunches. Based on the ratio, complete the missing values in the table.

Answer:

On monday the frog eats 15 frogs, and 35 mosquitoes. On tuesday the frog eats 6 flys and 14 mosquitoes.

Explanation:

The frog eats 3 flies for every 7 mosquitoes.

The values in the table represent ratios that are equivalent to this rate.

If the frog eats 5 times as many flies, he also eats 5 times as many mosquitoes.

If the frog eats 2 times as many mosquitoes, he also eats 2 times as many flies.

There is no diagram attached, however...

Let's say there is a 1:3 ratio of boys to girls. If someone asks how many boys there are if there are 12 girls. Just do 12/3 to get 4 then 4 * 1 to get 4.

Hope this helps <3
