Explanation:
Let x be the first number
the second one is x+1
the third one is x+2
the sum is : x+ (x+1)+(x+2)= 78
so : 3x+3 = 78
then : 3x = 75
finally x = 25
the second larger number is x+1 = 25+1 = 26
