Here are some suggestions: “I always feel good after talking to you.” • “It's so much fun talking to you. You tell great stories.” • “Seeing you is the best part of my day.” You can also tell the person that you need to go to work, or do homework, or have dinner.
Accept the blame when something's wrong (even if it's a fantasy)
Agree with them or distract them to a different subject or activity.
Allow plenty of time for comprehension… then triple it.
Avoid insistence — try again later.
Be cheerful, patient and reassuring.
