Suppose you want to use the cross training program to train for a particular sport. Which sports could the program most benefit and why? Which sports might the program least benefit?

Answer: This program would really benefit a hockey player because of the cardio and strength being together in one activity. When I watch hockey, the players skate hard and then let up. If they didn’t let up, they’d crash into the boards. This starting and stopping is a lot like sprinting and then stopping in a cross-training routine. I don’t think a golfer or a racecar driver could benefit from a cross-training routine. Neither of them needs cardio. The driver only needs strength to hold the steering wheel. The golfer needs strength and flexibility, but again, the cardio is unnecessary, especially if they have a golf cart.
