four equal circles are made with four corners of a square of side 7cm as their centers.The radius of each circle is 3.5cm
Calculate the area of the circular portions outside the square.​

Answer: 147π/4

Explanation:

Area of one circle = π*r^2

r = 3.5 cm =7/2 cm

area = π*7/2*7/2 = 49π/4

therefore area of 4 circles =49π

As 1/4th circle is removed from each circle the shaded area = 3/4 area of the area of the circle.

therefore, the are of the shaded portion = 49π*3/4 = 147π/4
