y = 52

Using Triangle Sum Theorem.

38 + z + z = 180

z = 71

The two base angles are 71°.

Angles on a straight line add up to 180°.

71 + m∠2 = 180

m∠2 = 109

The measure of m∠2 is 109°

Find the value of x

m∠2 = x + 119

109 = x + 119

x = 109 - 119
