i think that, out of the three branches of government, the one that has changed the most is the executive branch.

this is because since the time of the united states' first president, george washington, the branch has changed tremendously with all the amendments and past presidents we've had. while earlier in american history, the president had limited power under the constitution, now the president has more power, especially as the head of the executive branch. take franklin d. roosevelt, for example! presidents of the united states can only serve two terms (this is under the constitution's 22nd amendement), but franklin d. roosevelt had four terms. this was definitely a show of his power, for him to be president for as long as he was.
