If the locker has 3 non zero digits, this means the digits will take values from 1 to 9. If the first digits is 3, the remaining digits can take any of the values in the set {1, 2, 4, 5, 6 7, 8, 9}

Total elements in the set = 8

Total odd numbers there = {1, 5, 7, 9} = 4 odd numbers

If the next digit is odd, probability that the next digit is odd will be Total odd numbers/Total elements in the set = 4/8 = 1/2
