Answer:

The first first five terms of this sequence are

27 ,2.7 ,0.27 ,0.027 , 0.0027

Explanation:

a(n) = 27(0.1)^(n - 1)

where n is the number of term

For the first term

n = 1

a(1) = 27(0.1)^(1 - 1) = 27(0.1) ^(0)

= 27(1)

= 27

Second term

n = 2

a(2) = 27(0.1)^(2 - 1) = 27(0.1)^(1)

= 27(0.1)

= 2.7

Third term

n = 3

a(3) = 27(0.1)^(3 - 1) = 27(0.1)^(2)

= 0.27

Fourth term

n = 4

a(4) = 27(0.1)^(4 - 1) = 27(0.1)^(3)

= 0.027

Fifth term

n = 5

a(5) = 27(0.1)^(5 - 1) = 27(0.1)^(4)

= 0.0027

Hope this helps you
