Answer:

According to the poem, Miss Rosie was once the most beautiful woman in Georgia, however, she was penniless and no longer gorgeous. The figurative language used unfolds line by line how unfashionable she appears, ''When I watch you, you wet the brown bag of a woman''. The meters used place emphasis on the appearance of the observed. ''When I watch you wrapped up like garbage sitting surrounded by the smell of too old potato peels''. This first stanza places attention on the subject's appearance and describes the poor condition of Miss Rosie.

This type of description continues and the reader wouldn't have known that Miss Rosie was once the most gorgeous until the very last stanza. Each stanza gives the audience a relatable understanding.

Step-by-step explanation:

The answer above is perfection, I just fixed some of the grammar and punctuation :)

I know the original person that asked this question also asked for a better answer, but this one is pretty darn good (plus, you should be grateful they helped you, a stranger, anyway), and I’m sure you’re not still working on this Written Test 2 years later.
