Answer:

slope=-(1)/(4)

Explanation:

To find the slope of the two points (-9,-3) and (7, -7) w have to use the slope formula

slope=(y_(2)- y_(1) )/(x_(2) -x_(1) )
slope=((-7)- (-3))/(7 -(-9) )

slope=(-4 )/(16)=-(1)/(4) can also be written as a decimal
slope=-0.25

we get - 1/4 because -4 divided by -4 is 1 and -4 divided by 16 is -4
