Jacob is painting the walls of his new tiny house. If 3⁄4 of a can of paint is enough to paint 1 / 8of the walls, how much paint does Jacob need to paint all of the walls?

I used Improper Fractions to solve this question.

3/4 is enough to paint 1/8

Therefore we can multiply 3 by 8 to calculate how much paint is required for the whole wall.

3 * 8 = 24

24/4 = 6
