How much does he pay for the chocolates to the nearest pence? 10) Jan buys a pair of sunglasses in Boots for £12.50. In Portugal the same pair of glasses is €15. If the exchange rate is £1 = €1.12, where are the glasses the cheapest? Show your working.

9)874/350=2.497142857 so it cost £2.49

10)15/1.12=13.3928571 meaning the pair of sunglasses in Portugal costs £13.39 so it is cheaper to buy the glasses in boots
