Hi !!

Find the value of x :

We have :

• x + 2

• 3x - 6

Match the values to find x :

x + 2 = 3x - 6

x - 3x = -6 - 2

-2x = -8

x = 8/2

x = 4

* 4 + 2 = 3(4) - 6

6 = 12 - 6

6 = 6

Equality is checked, it is an isosceles triangle

Both the correct value is 4.
