18 - 10 = 8cm is the length of the line above 10cm

→ Now we use scale factor enlargement, we can see that opposite 12 is 8 so the multiplier that was used to get from 12 to 8 is,

12 ÷ 8 = 1.5

→ Now we know the multiplier is 1.5 and we need to find the side opposite 10 so we multiply 1.5 by 10 to get,

1.5 × 10 = 15
