Find the measures (in degrees) of the remaining angles of trapezoid ABCD (not shown) if

AB ∥ DC
and m∠A = 52° and m∠C = 124°

Answer: D=128 degrees, B=56 degrees

Explanation:

It is known that sum of two angles in trapezoid which are close to the side leg ( sides that are not parallel to each other)=180 degrees. Otherwise A+D=C+B=180 degrees

So A+D=180

52+D=180

D=128 degrees

124+ B=180

B=180-124= 56 degrees
