What are the differences from multiplication and addition?​

The basic difference is: addition is a of process repetitive addition Step-by-step explanation: Ex: 2+2+2+2+2=10

where as multiplication is a process of direct sum of the number of times the numerals appear in the progression: Ex: 2+2+2+2+2 can be solved by mulplying the number 2 by 5 times or 2*5=10.

Well there is actually no difference between addition and multiplication Multiplication is defined as repetitive addition. What is 9+9+9+9+9+9….. (900 times) ? You won't add the numbers individually as it's too long. Instead we would rewrite it as 9 * 900 = 8100
