Can someone help? Two players take turns placing multiple chess kings on the cells of a 9×9 chess board, one king per move, so that the kings do not beat each other. (The color of a king piece does not matter.) The player who cannot make a move loses. Which player is the winner?

Answer:

the first player wins

Explanation:

The first player can always win if they adopt this strategy:

1. make the first move in the center of the board

2. make every subsequent move in the position that is the image of the 2nd player's move, reflected across the center.

Hence if the 2nd player can make a move, so can the first.
