Since we already have the ending equation in slope intercept form, all we need to do is fill in the blanks. We do that by putting it in point slope form which is
y-y_(1)=m(x-x_(1))

(You can plug either point in and get the same result but I'm going to use the first one)


y-(-2)=8(x-3)

Distribute the
m(x-x_(3))


y-(-2)=8x-24

Isolate the
y


y-(-2)=y+2


y+2(-2)=8x-24(-2)


y=8x-26
