  • to solve this exercice we must divide the remaing paint quantity by the quantity each statue needs .

this way :

  • (2/3)/(1/2)= (2/3)*(2)

= 4/3

  • We khow that 4/3≈1.33
  • so the student can paint onlu one more statue fully
