Answer:

4(x-1)(x+6)

Explanation:

-1 x 6 = -6

-1+6=5

Put 4 out of the way while factoring

Then add it back once you've found your two numbers

4(x-1)(x+6)

The roots (zeros) are 1 and -6

Hope this helps!

Answer:

(X+2)(4x-3)

solution,

4 {x}^(2) + 5x - 6 \\ = 4 {x}^(2) + (8 - 3)x - 6 \\ = 4 {x}^(2) + 8x - 3x - 6 \\ = 4x(x + 2) - 3(x + 2) \\ = (x + 2)(4x - 3)

Hope this helps...

Good luck on your assignment.
