\qquad\qquad\huge\underline{\boxed{\sf Answer}}

Things we need to keep in mind in order to plot a point :

  • x - coordinate of the point shows its distance from origin in horizontal direction.

  • y - coordinate of the point shows its distance from origin in vertical direction.

Signs of the coordinates shows which side it lies on.

  • if x coordinate is positive then the point lies on right side of y - axis and if it is negative then it lies on left side of y - axis.

similarly,

  • if y coordinate is positive then the point lies above the x - axis , and if it's negative then it lies on down the x - axis.

Now, let's proceed ~

First check out its x - coordinate on origin and move up or down according to its y - coordinate and you will get your required point.

So, for point (1 , 0) it has y - coordinate = 0, so it lies on x - axis at the x - coordinate of 1.
