by using ratio and proportion rule

1:2=148:x


(1)/(2)=(148)/(x)

by cross multiplication

1×x=2×148

1x=296cm

converting into meter as we know that 1centi=10^-2

1x=296×10^-2

x=2.96m≈3meters
