Given Information :-

  • Speed = 6 m/s
  • Time taken = 5 seconds

To Find :-

  • The distance covered in that time interval

Solution :-

We know that, the formula used to calculate distance , when we are provided with time and speed, is :-

Thus, putting the given values, we will get,


\sf \hookrightarrow Distance = (6 \: m)/(s) * 5 \: s \\ \\ \\ \sf \hookrightarrow Distance = (6 \: m)/( \cancel s) * 5 \: \cancel s \\ \\ \\ \sf \hookrightarrow Distance =6 \: m * 5 \: \: \: \: \\ \\ \\ \sf \hookrightarrow Distance =30 \: m \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\

Thus, the distance covered in 5 second by that speed is 30 m.
