2. If major species become extinct it could negatively affect the food chain. For example if a predator species dies, it could lead to infestation of mice or an insect that destroys crops

3. Switching to more artificial methods means that farming become less profitable as more money is spent on growing plants so less people farm increasing food prices across the globe
