Ratio of Giraffes : Lions : Penguins = 3 : 5 : 11

Giraffes = 3x

Lions = 5x

Penguins = 11x

Giraffes = 4 legs

Lions = 4 legs

Penguins = 2 legs

4(3x) + 4(5x) + 2(11x) = 108

12x + 20x + 22x = 108

54x = 108

x = 108 ÷ 54 = 2

Number of lions = 5x = 5(2) = 10

Answer: 10 lions
