Answer:

130 cm^2

Explanation:

To calculate area of a trapezoid we divide the sum of bases by two then multiply it with height

(17 + 9) ÷ 2 × 10 = 130 cm^2

Answer:

The answer is option b 130cm²

Area of a trapezium is 1/2(a + b) × h

where 'a' and 'b' are the parallel sides of the trapezium

h is the height

From the picture above

h is 10cm

'a' and 'b' are 17cm and 9 cm respectively

Area of the trapezium = 1/2 ( 17+9)× 10

= 1/2× 26 × 10

= 13 × 10

= 130cm²

Hope this helps
