What is 3 3/4 as a fraction in its lowest term?
Please Explain it

Answer:

15/4

Explanation:

This is because the denominator is 4 which means that there has to be 4 above it to make one:

4/4=1

So, with that being said, we do 4x3 = 12

But then we add 3 to the numerator(top number of the fraction) because the starting equation was:

3 3/4 = 15/4
