(x1+x2)/2, (y1+y2)/ 2

we have to find point A, let it be (x,y

using the above formula , midpoint m is

-3= (-5+x)/ 2 3= (1+y)/ 2

-3*2= -5+x 6= 1 +y

-6 +5 = x 6-1 =y

x = -1 y = 5

Thus, the coordinates of point A is(-1,5).
