What should you tell someone who is appalled at the idea that you want to infect your soybean crop with a bacteria (Rhizobium) or your corn crop with a fungus (mycorrhiza) and wants to report you to the Center for Disease Control?

Step-by-step explanation:

I would tell any concerned person about the about the mutually beneficial or symbiotic relationship occuring between my plants and the fungus or bacteria.

The beneficial effect of the rhizobia bacteria to legumes is that they help fix fix nitrogen in the soil for the plant's use. Inoculation feeds this bacteria to the legumes. The plants on the other hand, act as host to the bacteria.

Mycorrhizae are symbiotic relationships formed between plants and fungi. The fungi infect the root of the plant and help increase water and nutrients absorption and the plant provides it carbohydrates.
