5ab + 8 - 1a^2.

Explanation:

Combining like terms, we get 3a^2 - 4a^2 = -1a^2. We get 9ab - 4ab = 5ab. Then we get, 5 + 3 = 8. Together this is 5ab + 8 - 1a^2
