How I divide by negative?? I forgot completely

Answer:

Divide like you normally would, the result will be the same as positive-number-quotients, but the quotient will be negative.

Example:

10 ÷ -5

since 5 is the dividend, 5 goes into 10 two times but note that it's negative two because of the negative division logic.

= -2
