Answer: 5/13 of the cousins are male.

Explanation:

If there are 26 cousins and sixteen are female, then subtract 16 from the total to find how many are male then divide it by the total.

26 - 16 = 10 so 10 of them are male.

10/26 = simplifies to 5/13

Check:

(5)/(13)*(26)/(1) =
(130)/(13) = 10
