Answer: X = 3.5, Side = 20cm

Explanation:

A square has equal sides so-

6x-1 = 4x+6

(move the x with the lower value) = 6x - 4x - 1 = 6

= 2x - 1 = 6

(move the -1 next) = 2x = 6 + 1

= 2x = 7

(divide by 2) = x = 7 ÷ 2

= x = 3.5

Substitute the x in the question with the number value-

4x + 6 = 4 x 3.5 + 6 = 14 + 6 = 20cm

(You can just solve one of the brackets since all sides in a square are equal)

Hope this helps! :)

Answer:

22 cm

Explanation:

Sides of a square are always equal.

So,

6x-1 = 4x+6

=> 6x-4x = 6+1

=> 2x = 7

Dividing both sides by 2

=> x = 3.5

Now, The length of one sides of square is

=> 6(3.5)+1

=> 21+1

=> 22 cm
