Answer:

x = 8 pi/3 + 4 pi n x = 10 pi /3 + 4 pi n where n is an integer

Explanation:

2 sin ( x/2) + sqrt(3) = 0

Subtract sqrt(3) from each side

2 sin ( x/2) = - sqrt(3)

Divide by 2

sin (x/2) = - sqrt(3) /2

Take the inverse sin of each side

sin ^1- sin (x/2) = sin ^-1 ( - sqrt(3) /2)

x/2 = 4pi /3 + 2 pi n x/2 = 5pi /3 + 2pi n where n is an integer

Multiply each side by 2

x = 8 pi/3 + 4 pi n x = 10 pi /3 + 4 pi n where n is an integer
