What is x +2/3 =2

And how do I get it please explain it like you would to a 4 year cause I’m stupid

x=(4)/(3)

Explanation:


x+(2)/(3)=2

to find the value of x we subtract 2/3 on both sides


x+(2)/(3)-(2)/(3)=2-(2)/(3)

taking LCM AS 3


x=(2*3)/(1*3)-(2)/(3)


x=(6)/(3)-(2)/(3)


x=(4)/(3)
