perimeter (clockwise)

= 90

= x + 8 + (x + 8) + x + (x + 8) + x + 8 + (x + 8) + x + (x + 8)

= 8x + 6(8)

= 8x + 48

8x + 48 = 90

8x = 42

x = 5.25
