Answer: Communication skills are acquired by nurture.

Explanation: Communication refers to the act of imparting or exchanging of information through speaking, writing or other forms.

A child born does not already have the skill of communication. He has to be nurtured and consciously thought how to communicate. Such forms include being taught by his parents informally or by teachers formally.

As such, the abilities to speak, write, read and listen is acquired by nurturing and not by nature.
