Can someone help me solve this 6x+5=3x+14

x=1/3 is the answer

Explanation:

6x+15=3x+14

substracting 3x on both sides

6x-3x+15=3x-3x+14

3x+15=14

subtracting 15 on both sides

3x+15-15=14-15

3x=1

x=1/3
