He pays €58.50. If you do 10% of 65 it is €6.50. 65€ - 6.50€ is 58.5€.

Answer:

58.5 dollar

solution \\ marked \: price = 65 \: dollar \\ discount \: percent = 10 \\ discount \: amount \\ = discount \: percent \: of \: mp \\ = 10 \: of \: 65 \\ = 6.5 \: dollar \\ selling \: price = mp - discount \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 65 - 6.5 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 58.5 \: dollar

hope this helps..
