PUZZLED HELP! If I solve an equation, get the answer, but when I do a" check step", does it mean that I have to solve the equation again? Example: 3(x – 1) + 2x = 6x is equaled to -3, but when I checked it the answer was false...-16=-18 (false)

Answer:

If it's wrong then yes you should try to solve the equation again if not then you should be fine to just move on
