In Math class, there was a bucket of markers on the counter with seven blue, five green, and twelve orange markers. Each student will get one, and there are twenty-four students. What is the best answer for the probability that Liz will NOT get an orange marker? A 7/24 B 1/2 C 12/19 D 36/24

B because seven blue markers and five green markers add together to make a total of 12 markers that are not orange. The total number of markers that the math class has is 24. So... 12/24 can be simplified to make 1/2 or 1:2
