Answer: 6 and 8

Explanation:

Consecutive numbers mean it’s one number after another. If there are consecutive even numbers, then both numbers are even and 2 digits apart.

8 - 6 = 2

6 and 8 are consecutive even numbers because they are 2 digits apart and are both even numbers

6 * 8 = 48

The product of 6 and 8 = 48
