y = 2x + [-3]

Explanation:

Slope of the perpendicular line = m = 2

Point = (x,y) = (6,9)

So, x = 6, y = 9

Putting in slope intercept equation


y=mx+c

9 = (2)(6) + c

c = 9-12

c = -3

Putting m and c in slope intercept equation

y = 2x + [-3]
