Tom buys a new phone service. It costs $20 to install, and then costs $15 a month. Write an equation to show the cost of the phone (y) for any number of months (x).

Answer:

A. y= 15x+20

Explanation:

since every month it charges you 15$, and you pay an initial fee of 20$, then the answer would be 20+15x = y

And if we rearrange it, it would give us y= 15x+20
