Segment AB will move further away from point P (since both A and B move away from P). So it's not possible for AB and A'B' to be on the same line. In fact, these two line segments are parallel.
In contrast, AC and A'C' are on the same line. Points A and C move away from P, but line AC goes through P, which means A'C' does as well. It's not possible for AC and A'C' to be parallel.
