A nature preserve opened with a population of 6 rabbits. After one year, the number of rabbits had doubled. The year after that, the number of rabbits doubled once again. Assuming that this pattern continues, plot the solution points for the first three years along with the y-intercept. Let y represent the number of rabbits on the nature preserve after x years. I have to graph it, the max y number is 60 and the max x number is 5.

Answer:And Explanation

Initially the number of rabbits in the preserve are: 6

After one year the population of rabbits are doubled this means that the population of rabbits at the end of one year is: 2×6=12

Again after one year the population of rabbits are doubled this mean that at the end of second year the population of rabbits are: 12×2=24

and at the end of third year the population of rabbits is: 24×2=48

Hence, the points are plotted as follows:

(0,6)

(1,12)

(2,24)

and (3,48)

We know that the y-intercept is the point where x-value is zero.

Hence, here we have y-intercept at (0,6
