Aggression is defined as a behavior driven by the desire to damage another person who is attempting to prevent it. Violence is a severe kind of violence in which a person engages in physical behavior with the purpose of permanently injuring another person.

Aggression is a behaviour motivated by the intent to cause harm to another person who wishes to avoid that harm. Violence is an extreme subtype of aggression, a physical behaviour with the intent to kill or permanently injure another person
